Oh dear, I have my 1 week vacation coming up soon and i don't what to do but to hole myself up in the house and rot. Btw, i told my friend i would rot to death n she didn't understand me so the joke was lost when i was trying to describe what was rot. In the end i gave up and said i would die within the week, she then asked me why. That's when i stopped making jokes around her.
So today i went to ikea with my friend chia jeng and we found a gold mine!! At least for fat/pregnant people... There was this store called Kiabi where they sold clothes at a MUCH cheaper price than the stores.. I think i might buy something there next time :D And then we went to ikea to shop for her stuff. When we were done which was abt 6+, the stupid weather had to rain! We walked towards the tramway really quickly trying to avoid the rain. Thank goodness the tram came quickly...
Today i managed to cook the most delicious spaghetti carbonara!! I'm a genius!! The onions were the main ingredients and just add some ham and sausages and voila! A delicious dish is born! While chopping the onions i started to cry.. The smell was so damn strong that my eyes started to water immediately! Deliciously strong! Any good asian dish needs onions and chili don't you agree?
Oh and Baguettes cannot be kept for more than 3 days or it will harden. OH YES!! Never put baguettes in a microwave oven!!!! Being the smart ass that I am i thought the heat would soften the bread so i put it on high heat and left it in the microwave oven to toast. When i came back from the toilet the microwave oven was smoking and i panicked! I stopped the thing and opened the door... My goodness, the smell was so horrible! The bread was burnt beyond repair and it was harder than ever so i threw it away. My landlady happened to be in and she rushed to the room to find out what happened. I opened the window and used the magazine to circulate the air within the room. My goodness.. the entire house smelled of charred baguettes... I was fanning the magazine throughout the day trying to get rid of the smell... That happened last week and i can still smell traces of the burnt smell.
