AAAAAHHHH...
Accepted!
I got accepted into NAFA. Crap. its the arts management course which is something that i'm not too keen about. I showed the acceptance letter to my parents and they agreed with me that its still very ex so which means i MIGHT have to turn it down...
SO ITS ON TO FRANCE!!!! (I hope, ohpleaseohpleaseohpleaseohpleaseohplease!!!!!!)\
My parents sat me down and we talked realistically about me going to study over there. I'll admit when you add the living expenses and air fare it won't come cheap. And of course we'll have to see if the school is reputable. Then of course there's the future to think about.
Firstly, what will happen when i get there? Would i be a failure? Would i end up with nothing in the end? With the job market hitting the pits it might mean that i'll become a bum.
Secondly, the money situation. What will happen when i get there. But most importantly, what will happen when I GET HOME......?
Thirdly, I think for me it'll be hard to have a career in Singapore so if i DO study in france i'll be there for the long haul. As in... I MIGHT NOT COME BACK.
So in the end, Do i go? Or do i stay. I'm usually very laidback about what i want but this is the 1st time i'm pushing to go to france.
So what will the future hold? Good or bad?
But then again, who knows?
Interviews

Don't interviews freak you out?
Today i had an interview with NAFA for the course of Arts Management.
Here's the info:
In Collaboration with the University of Huddersfield |
|
The BA (Hons) in Arts Management places an emphasis on professional practices and research to prepare graduates for the challenging world of arts management. The curriculum is designed to develop a well-rounded understanding of the theoretical, technical and cultural aspects which affect the management of the creative industries. The modules undertaken by students in their Honours level study are carefully structured to encourage analytical thinking and develop the ability to supervise a project from conception to execution. Students can pursue their individual interests via the Research Study and Major Project modules. |
|
Candidature into the course would be based on a face-to-face interview. Applicants would likely have a Diploma in a related discipline and/or related work experiences. This course is designed for learners interested in working in the creative economy which spans both the performing and visual arts, as well as the diverse design and communications industries. |
Its apparently a 1 yr course and S$17,000.00 per semester...
Somehow i don't really feel like doing this course at all but nevermind, just go for the interview.
So AGAIN, i got lost trying to find the building, but thank goodness i found some familiar landmarks and instead of taking the 30mins before, i it took me less than half the time to get there. But when i reached there i still had to wait... -__-'''
Ahhh.. the interview. They asked me questions like what was New Media and i sorta blanked out on that question. I remembered that i had a similar question sometime before so i searched my mind for the answer but DAMN! I really, really really forgot the answer!! Ahhhh, so i made up some crappy answer...
Dunno if i'll get it or not.

Ok, this happened to me in the morning.
At around 2 a.m in the morning,i heard this tapping noise. It was very methodical and it sounded like someone tapping on glass. "Tap, tap, tap..." So in the end i thought nothing of it and went back to sleep.
Then AGAIN at around 4 a.m i woke up to the SAME NOISE. Like someone was tapping their fingers on a glass surface and it was like the same beat... "Tap, tap, tap..." I was a little scared but i continued to close my eyes and eventually fell back asleep.
THEN WHAAA,
At 6am i heard the noise again... "Tap, tap, tap...." Same old fucking noise. I was pissed off cuz i had work later on but i was kinda scared too cuz... YOU KNOW, unknown tapping, its bound to drive anyone crazy. So, in the end, i just said to myself, "Can't you just stop the damn tapping and let me sleep???"
And the tapping STOPPED!!! OMGGGGG!!!!!!!!
When i woke up at 9 i tried to use my finger to tap against several surfaces but none sounded like the ones that woke me up earlier. So when my sister woke up(she sleeps in the same room as me), she looked at me and asked me, "Did you hear the tapping noise last night?"
AHHHHHH!!!! So I WASN'T DREAMING! HAH!
Ok, tonight i must see, if the tapping noise wakes me up i'm gonna investigate... if there is a face on my window.... well, i'll either die on the spot or i'll blog about it soon.
SWINE fever.

Orange alert!! Guess the swine flu is getting worse. Apparently in Mexico, the streets are deserted, so are theaters and everyone is pulling out of there...
Well, what can we do to protect ourselves?? Esp those in the direct line of fire. I'm talking about those who work in Customer Service.
Which makes me vulnerable right? After all, there are many people from all over the world that comes in. Whaaa... So how should i protect myself?? I guess a mask is appropriate. But it's stuffy! Nevermind, i found some inspiration to wear it. This pic is for all the gals, and some guys...
