Here is one thing that I don't understand, why is it that when you're late there will ALWAYS be something else to make you even later than you already are???
FOR EXAMPLE:
When you realize that you're late, these several scenarios start to happen:
1) The Bus doesn't come.
2) If you want to take bus no. 77 to go to esplanade, ALL of the other buses have to come TWICE before your bus comes.
3) The Bus driver drives at a SNAIL'S PACE
4) The people who are boarding the bus start who don't know the routes would ask the bus driver annoyingly LONG AND STUPID QUESTIONS. (can't they read the fucking board????)
5) There will suddenly appear to have traffic jams at every junction.
6) All the Red lights start to come on.
7) The pedestrians start to walk EXTREMELY SLOWLY BECAUSE THEIR AIM IN LIFE IS TO TORMENT YOU.
8) There is a sudden surge of old people boarding the bus.
9) The Bus gives way to 10,000,000,000 other cars before they drive off.
And Finally,
10) Some idiot who took a fart/carried something smelly/IS SMELLY happens to be on the same bus as you. (a high possibility)
And all throughout this time all you can do is look at your watch and start counting the agonizing mins til the end.
Well, what to do in these situations??
I guess I should not have been late in the first place. Sigh...
While i was working at the water area, i saw this really young boy standing next to the blue slide and was just standing there while his face was getting splashed with water. So from experience, i decided to pull him to the other side so that he won't get hit in the face while the bigger children were sliding down. Then i went to find his father and that asshole had the nerve to scold me. (BTW: they were ang moh)
That fucker had the nerve to tell me i was an idiot who didn't know anything and that as a father... quote directly "I KNOW WHAT'S BEST CUZ I'M HIS FATHER. WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?"
WHO AM I?? I WORK THERE YOU ASSHOLE. I KNOW WHAT CAN HAPPEN SO I PULLED HIM TO SAFETY. UNLIKE YOU, YOU IGNORANT ASSHOLE WHO WILL GET HIS SON INJURED, I HELP PEOPLE.
Such a dumbass. I work there for more than 10mths you think i don't know what can happen??? Stupid. Of all the people i deal with, some of the ang moh's, esp the americans are among the rudest, narcissitic, arrogant assholes that i've ever had to deal with. And guess what? I'm not the only one saying so. Everyone who has delt with a large variety of customers knows and agrees with i'm saying. They think they can come here and treat the service staff like dirt?? Who do they think they are?? American's aren't the "Ruler's of the earth". They are just PEOPLE with BIG EGOS.
Even though that was one experience(among others) which dampened my image of them, thank goodness not all of them are like that. I've met some americans who are so polite and friendly and treat us with respect. Its that small minority who think they are so godamn smart and act like jerks should be whipped until they either die or....... nevermind, death is a good punishment.
As part of the service staff, i feel that unless you are treated with respect then we will never respect you when we serve you. We might be obligated to give you good service but in our eyes, you are nothing but a worhtless piece of shit if you treat us badly.
So people, the moral of the story is, treat everyone with respect and you'll find that you receive it back. Sounds rhyme-y... And too serious.... so some pics to lighten the mood of the post!
Sigh, i guess nowadays my post have become so long and a little draggy. Maybe cuz there are hardly any photos up?? Well, I've decided to post most of them now.. Even though some might be a little backdated...
These were the efforts of baking for the first time...

So i decided on making myself some icing...
Voila! My own cupcake!
And now, to introduce someone at work who has left us a long time ago, but will still be remembered... Ok, sounds like she died but in actual fact she was an intern and she went back to school.

Graduation: A really bittersweet moment when you think about it. After all, you are leaving a place after 3 long years. Well, for me, it was both sad and happy. I guess cuz you make some friends there and i can't really say that the entire time i spent there was BAD.. There were some good times too and i did manage to learn A FEW things. So i guess i could say that although i pretty much hated the 99% of time i spent there, its the 1% that i shall miss the most.
The ceremony was BORING. There was a talk by the principal and the guest of honour. AND on top of that, the STA batch was one of the last ones to go up... GRRR. We were so hungry and thirsty... Vanessa sat next to me and everytime a person's name got called up, she would say out a food name. For example...
Announcer: Low Wai Kai Her: Lor Mai Kai!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!~
LOL!
Yes, it was dreadful Liz.
Managed to sneak some photos though... Too bad the lighting wasn't good.
Ahhh... i guess i'll really miss these few people!
And a day out with HJ.
We went to Vivo to have dinner. The restaurant was called the Asian Kitchen and we ordered ALOT. Too Bad we were too hungry so we ended up eating everything before we could take any pics. But luckily, we managed to take a pic of the dessert which was too cute for words!!! It was read bean wrapped in some skin and it was delicious!! OISHIII!
And now onto work! A very important thing to not that it is always sunny and now that the June holiday's are here we, at Kidzworld, are D-A-M-N busy. I had to go to work 6 days in a row and I had to wake up at 6a.m everytime. It was not a good period for me.
