Hey, Well, so far it's been quiet lately but that's cuz i'm SO tired that i find it quite bothersome to blog. But since i'm up now so what the hey!
First off, i have been working under the sun and the horrible tan is back. It looks so disgusting... I have no idea how to cover over it so i'm going to bundle myself up.
Secondly, THANK GOODNESS for the rain! Nowadays it's not too hot isn't it?
Thirdly, the stupid zoo hasn't paid me yet!!! WTF?!?!?!? They said there was some problem with dunno what and now, i have no pay. So i'm basically broke as hell and staying at home...
And finally, YES. I've been taking french classes 2X per week. Its from 7 to 9 and before i go there i always find myself getting SO hungry. NO CLUE WHY. Even if i had stuffed myself i would STILL get hungry. It never happens at home. So i decided that before i leave, i'll get myself some soy milk to help me tide over the hunger. Luckily for me that worked :D
And then while in class i'm like the only one who finds it hot. I'm sweating bullets while the other people find it perfectly fine. Like wtf?? I'm sweating profusely and trying to wipe the sweat out of my eyes AND trying to pay attention to class... URGH. Maybe cuz i'm too fat. I need to cut down on the blubber soon!!!!!!!!!!!
After taking up french, i realize that to learn french, you have to forget EVERYTHING you ever learned about the english language. Their alphabet is pronounced differently and the phonetics?? Yeah, forget about it. Disregard everything you've learned about english from phonetics cuz its impossible to learn spelling from it. FOR EXAMPLE...
Bonjour! Je m'appelle Felicia. Je suis Singapourienne.
It means Morning, my name is felicia. I am singaporean.
How to pronounce it?
Bo/n/jo/urrrr. Jee/ma/pel Felicia. Je/sui/ Sang/ha/pou/ri/enne.
Well, something like that. Their 'y' in the alphabet is pronounced as 'i'grecque.
Uh huh. It ain't easy. After class i ALWAYS have to revise again and again and again. Hope i manage to get it right.... It's exhausting. The worst part is the nasal sounds where you have your "uh" and 'ah' and 'eh'. Its hard doing it when you have a cold like ME. I had the sniffles but had to attend class. While trying to learn the nasal sounds, snot almost came out. Thank god that happened while i was practising at home but still!!!
I'm gonna learn til i perfect my french!!!!!
