First to start off with good stuff.... Working at the zoo as usual, is VERY FUN. Also it feels so much better than school.

My photography
Do you know how hard it is to take a good photo of a goat?? Bloody things keep moving here and there...

Alamak! Too close...

BAD #1

BAD#2

Finally! A good shot!
Today as usual... SO EXCITING!!! Must blog one. Today a baby female elephant escaped and was running around the zoo!! Apparently the elephant was chasing someone. Now for no good reason which elephant would go around chasing random strangers unless the person did something to them right? After all, elephants have such good memories... Must be this person treated the elephant badly or the elephant could have just been plain mad... Hmmm....
Another thing that was exciting/horrific was that this boy fell and had a DEEP gash on his forehead. And as i was one of the first persons to arrive at the first aid room, i saw the gash on the boy's forehead which was deep and long. Plus there was SO much bleeding.... OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!! It was so DISGUSTING. I wanted to scream and point at his head, but i was professional enough and put on my gloves and went to work. I used my gloves and applied gauze on the forehead. Of course i washed the wound first by using the sterilized water, then applied the gauze and put pressure onto the wound. The boy's mother ah... WHA. I can understand why she is hysterical and all, but she totally lost control of herself. She kept screaming at me to hurry up and do something. Like what?? Magically heal the boy??
As i was trying to calm the boy down, he told me how he fell and said that someone pushed him down near the slide... uh huh. I caught him a few times doing things he shouldn't be doing at the water play area and he didn't listen to me... SEE LA. LOOK WHAT HAPPEN?!?!? THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR NOT LISTENING TO ME. Ok la, dun be so bad...
Anyway, throughout it all, there was someone calling for ambulance and then there was others who was trying to contact our supervisor. The mother kept trying to comfort the boy by saying so nicely to him, "Mommy loves you, be good and don't fidgit..." That sort of thing. And the boy didn't cry throughout. Until he said he wanted to see the other animals.
Boy:
Mommy can we see the animals after this?
Mom:
No, cannot, must go to the hospital.
Boy:
But i want to see the animals
Mom:
Cannot! Go hospital!
This was when the boy started to cry..
Boy:
DON'T WANT! I WANT TO SEE THE ANIMALS!!! WHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
Me:
Uhhh... its ok, dun worry, you can always come back another day ok??
Boy:
Sniff Sniff....
WHA! Got a cut like that still want to see the animals?? I must admit he's a brave boy. Only 5 yrs old and he didn't cry from the cut but with his anxious mother fluttering around me ah... GRRRRRR....
Turns out in the end he needed stiches so he's fine now. :D
Kids today ah... At the wet slides area, i had to pull young children out of harms way when boys slide down the slide 3 at one go. Esp this OBESE boy tried to slide down and almost hit the young 1 yr old girl off her feet. Luckily i saw what was happenening in time and i ran towards the slide and carried the girl out... PHEW! So many things happening today! Great! This is why working at the zoo is always better than RP.
Now for the bad thing. Let me rant.
FYP= Fucking piece of shit.
Sorry but this is how i feel. If you dun like it, well, too bad. My feelings, my blog, my say.
I will further elaborate when it is over.
Thanks for listening!
PS: I find it lame when people try to sound like gossip girl and put the xoxo GG at the end. its so bloody overused. Think of something more original assholes...
