Today was the grand opening of Nippleworts for Nitwits and I must say, we've managed to surpass our expected target! We managed to get over $20 which is quite a shock to us(or me only)! Hahahaha... You must be wondering about how mad I am... Not quite. Our stuff is quite expensive after all and the crowd at NLB? Well, can't say much abt it...
Today setting up was a real CHORE... there was a strong wind coming in from the side and the paper kept flying! Thank goodness its over... Then, there was a symphony to accompany us! The NUS symphony performed songs from famous plays like Carmen, Faust, Anna and the King and Phantom Of the Opera. It was really cool to listen to them! They were good....
At the end of the day when we packed up, I had to "rush" to church... turns out it was a 10 mins or less walk! Not that Far at all!!! So I walked around for a little bit more before going to church... Sigh, the sermon was boring! And the priest had this snobbish voice which kept going up and down and up and down and up and down..... I didn't want to fall asleep as I thought it was rude but it was HARD to keep awake! I was tired ok?? In the end, i justified me sleeping when I saw another person doing the thing i wanted to do since I sat down. I "tried" to keep awake but it was really too much for me so i napped for a while. HONEST! IT WAS ONLY FOR AS LONG AS THE SERMON WAS!! I did try to slap myself but i still managed to sleep so I just gave in to temptation....
So... Guess what? I forgot my house keys!!! AHHHH!! I was damm tired and I wanted to sleep... But how to get in with no key??? Sigh... In the end I went to the club to meet my auntie. We went for the buffet where I ate copious amounts of salmon sashimi and ate the most wonderful Beef Teppenyaki... I also had chocolate sauce over strawberries, bananas, breadsticks and marshmallow with a side of chocolate tiramisu cake.... AWESOME!!! After that wonderfully filling meal, it was time to go home... That was really a good thing in disguise huh!!! Sigh.. contentment!!!
Song of choice: Habanera 'L'amour est un oiseau rebelle' - Carmen(the play not electra)
